Delta Chi

The Creighton University chapter of Delta Chi was opened in 2020 and chartered in November 2023. Originally established as a law fraternity at Cornell University in 1890, Delta Chi strives to build men who promote our four pillars: promote friendship, develop character, advance justice, and assist in the acquisition of a sound education. Delta Chi still holds its cardinal principle established in 1890: the perpetuation of justice in society. A Delta Chi is always concerned with doing the right thing, even when it might not be the popular thing to do. For him, developing character is having good sportsmanship, maintaining integrity, and holding yourself and others to a higher standard. Character is a core value and the cornerstone of the fraternity. This fraternity were also created to inspire friendship in its members. The common bond of personal development through brotherhood can motivate a man to accomplish great things. Despite the first three pillars, however, the reason one goes to college is to receive an education. In the form of study groups, note files, mentoring by upperclassmen, and advice from the chapter’s faculty advisor, Delta Chi provides its members with a support network around their college experience. While accepting and appreciating the uniqueness of its members, the Delta Chi Fraternity constructs passionate leaders who promote our four pillars and always remember the perpetuation of justice in society.
